Classic Rock Pub Band

Friday night saw our inaugural gig at The Hole In The Wall, in the marketplace of Darlington. We’d like to say a massive thank you to Dave, Nogi, and the staff of The Hole for their hard work in helping us to get up and running on the night.

Yes, there were a couple of hiccups, teething problems, but nothing that stopped us from smashing out some mega hits in our own style.

With it being the first gig in our current guise, we had a cohort of family and friends come along to give support. It proved to be a fantastic opportunity to show our “other-halves” the fruits of 7 months of practice, sweating, swearing, noise and broken strings; and to each of you we need to say a big thank you for putting up with us, our ‘occasional’ tonal issues, and our Saturday absences.

It won’t be long before we’re back in front of an audience, with a private party lined up for bonfire night. I’m not sure it’ll be a t-shirt gig as it’s in a barn, but I reckon we can get the energy built up and bring the party up to boiling point!
